The Boathouse

Client

The Boat House Group commissioned EDP to carry out the works to renovate and remodel the existing first floor and Roof structure of The Boat House following an extensive fire. 

Brief

Re-build, Refurbish and Fit-out the First floor of the Boat House restaurant whilst keeping the ground floor of the restaurant trading.

Solution

The internal detail of the new roof with exposed timber, tongue and groove boarding and steel ties gives the inspiration for the interior whilst also reflecting the nature of the building and its past.
